Is The Concept of a “Missing Half” Real?
Missing Half: If I were to answer “yes” to these questions, it would reflect a superficial and primitive view of the order governing the universe.
The essence of everything in existence originates from the void; this stage is called pre-evolution. Then, pairs or categories come into being in the next stage. In the universe, everything is created with its opposite pole. Similar things are kept apart, while opposing elements are placed side by side so that everything depends on something else—except for the sacred essence of God, who is the source of all things upon which everything in this world depends. All phenomena in the universe are opposing pairs that need one another to reach completion. Change arises from the interaction of the two forces of Yin and Yang, which are the positive and negative elements of existence.
The complex internal flow of these two forces generates the energy that leads to creation and transformation in everything. These two forces, constantly in flux, indicate that in the universe everything is changing into something else, and every state is transforming into another. Changes occur one after another, moving in ever-turning cycles, where every end is a beginning. The path of change can be observed everywhere and at every moment—in the motion of moons, in the cycle of seasons, and in human fortune.
The masculine and feminine aspects, or anima and animus within each individual, and Yin and Yang in the universe, are familiar terms used to describe the dual and paired nature of everything. Yin and Yang can be clearly observed in nature through the changing seasons. The Yang phase brings birth and renewal in spring and growth in summer. The Yin phase brings decline in autumn and winter, preparing for a new beginning.
Everything in the universe is measured by two types of energy
- object
- subject, known
- unknown, still
- moving, warm
- cold, dry
- moist, day
- night, light
- darkness.
The essence of creation is based on pairing; therefore, most humans instinctively seek their counterpart and follow their inherent nature. You may ask yourself whether a counterpart has also been destined for you, and whether, if you are on the right path and God wills it, that person will appear in your life.

The Missing Half — A Projection of the Missing Half
If I were to answer “yes” to these questions, it would reflect a superficial and primitive view of the order governing the universe. Many people are searching for their “missing half,” but the truth is that none of us has a missing half. When we exist within a specific مدار (orbit) and frequency, according to divine law, a counterpart with the same frequency is drawn toward us; and this does not mean being passive in the face of events. It does not mean waiting for something to happen based on the belief that there is a missing half for us. Rather, by focusing on our positive qualities, self-awareness, understanding ourselves, accessing our higher self, and recognizing the ultimate purpose of creation, we move along the path of growth and higher goals. Inevitably, similar vibrations manifest and appear in our lives. In education, one is guided toward inner aspirations; in career, one reaches the desired profession; friends and colleagues align with one’s level of awareness, knowledge, and insight; and a life partner is someone who supports one along this path.
With this perspective and way of looking at life and existence, one can expect to meet a person who shares the same frequency and moves within the same orbit.
If you observe happy and successful couples, you will notice that after some time they begin to resemble each other—even in appearance. This does not mean their facial features are identical, but when you see them together, you feel how similar they are. This reflects shared and harmonious vibrations.
A Strong, Independent, and Joyful “Me”
Desperately searching for a missing half is a denial of the strong, independent, and joyful “self.” It is better to wait for a “someone”—someone who recognizes and respects our growth and independence. Someone who wants you as you are. Then, a “we” is formed—a strong and joyful “we.” In my view, someone who acknowledges your growth and independence brings a sense of life and vitality. When they enter your life, you may even begin to write poetry—even if you are not a poet. In fact, your latent abilities awaken.
You can accomplish what once seemed impossible and gain the courage to truly live. You become purposeful, and your dreams begin to manifest.
You are happy. You are beautiful
You See a Part of Yourself in Them
You see a part of your own personality in them. You share common interests. If one day you are apart, they shine like a diamond in a corner of your mind, and you feel the warmth of their love from miles away. Being with them makes many things unnecessary. Even when separated, you do not feel bitterness—you let them be free, and if they return, you hold no resentment.
Your true partner helps you find your purpose on this planet.
